For the 100th anniversary of electrical recording, Ryan, Ron and Wes created Big Ribbon Stories and the New Stereo Soundbook.

We celebrate a century of spatial innovation with exemplar recordings of how well music can be captured, and with the idea that simpler can be better.‍ ‍

Les Paul said RCA’s 44B/BX was the first great music mic. He owned five. This project serves to demonstrate that when you “Fix it in the Mic” anyone with a passion for music can create life-changing records.

Dolly Parton’s music was a blessing.

Her songs stand the test of time.

Relevant and inspirational, bridging old and new.

We all sang Happy Birthday at Brian Ahern’s 75th.

She led us, sat by him, held his hand, as he’d been ailing.

Dolly appreciated those who connected her with her audience.

Brian created legendary records in his Enactron Truck.

Brian’s first AEA R44CNE recorded everything for Emmylou’s 2010 Grammy 'The Connection'.   

His second AEA R44CNE recorded Dolly.  They signed them for Wes’s mic museum.
