Fred Forssell - Part 1

Welcome to the first part of our two-part interview with Fred Forssell. Fred's journey into the world of electronics and audio engineering began in the 1960s as he immersed himself in the music scene, working on light shows for rock and roll performances. Over time, his passion for live music evolved into a fascination with the audio side of things.

In this segment, Fred shares how he got his start and introduces us to his early mentors, including Jeff Cook and Baskin H. King, both influential figures in the audio industry. These mentors instilled in him the importance of critical listening and the realization that designing audio equipment goes beyond measurements – it's about how the equipment imparts a unique "vibe" to the music.

Join us on this journey into Fred's audio engineering career, where we explore the intersection of science and art in pursuit of the perfect sound. Stay tuned for part two, where Fred delves even deeper into the world of circuit design and audio electronics.
